The College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Applied Sciences in Majardah launch three digital initiatives "Learning and teaching with a technical and stimulating nature is available to all members of society with a technical and stimulating nature"

Under this principle, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Applied College of Majardah continue to support qualitative initiatives aimed at further improving learning outcomes and raising the level of societal culture for female students, graduates, members of the university, and members of the community of Majardah Governorate.

In this semester and at the beginning of this year, the (E-learning Excellence Initiative) - in its second edition - was launched. Female students and faculty members. Organizing the launch of the Excellence in E-Learning initiative also comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which was launched by His Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which emphasized the need to build a scientific and technical community capable of achieving sustainable development goals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In its first edition, the initiative has achieved many advantages and goals over the months that the initiative was implemented. Which included a scientific and technical addition and a quantum leap in the process of teaching and learning in the college and society as a whole. The initiative has been able to get rid of many of the problems of traditional education through fairness in evaluation and enlargement of study (which has been reduced to the lowest levels), raising learners' positive rates in the educational process, and increasing their interaction in the enrichment activities provided by the initiative.

The Excellence in E-Learning initiative is launched in its second edition this year, which aims to optimize the use of e-learning tools, out of the college’s keenness to be a pioneering model in this aspect, as the initiative seeks to provide (18) training courses and workshops and (5) meetings With the students, as well as launching the motivational excellence competition for the best three faculty members and students and the best model lesson after judging (20) model lessons. The launch of the E-Learning Excellence Initiative in its first and second editions coincides with the general trend of transformation in the educational process. By applying e-learning and distance education, as well as to achieve one of the Kingdom's vision programs, which is motivation and the creation of appropriate environments that contribute to creativity and innovation. The implementation of the second edition of the E-learning Excellence Initiative comes at an important time in one of the most important qualitative shifts in the educational process in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, namely the three-semester system and the transition from the two-semester system and the need to activate more e-learning tools to facilitate time and space factors for learning. The initiative provides an added value in the university's education model through a set of programs and courses targeting faculty members and students in order to enhance their skills and provide them with new skills that help them create and innovate in the manufacture and use of digital content and deal with it based on international quality standards.

The second initiative, which is the (Towards a Digital Society) initiative, which aims to raise the level of community members in terms of science and technology, through training courses that have been and will be held throughout the implementation period of the initiative. The number of courses that will take place within the Towards a Digital Society initiative has reached about (30) courses, and the total number of beneficiaries from the initiative so far for the two courses Introduction to Computer and Programming and the Basic Medical Word Structure course has reached (817) beneficiaries, and the initiative has achieved the desired outputs remarkably.
