Bariq Governorate hosted the "Shiyam Asir" Championship, competing for the Cup of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal—Governor of the Asir Region. The event was overseen by King Khalid University (represented by the Applied College in Al-Majardah) and executed by the Jud Al-Nawasi Club. The race was honored by the presence of Prince Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.

Women and Children Initiative
The Women and Children Initiative is a strategic initiative of King Khalid University, aligned with the Asir Region Strategy. It was implemented by the Applied College in Al-Majardah as a community-focused initiative aimed at contributing to the creation of a sustainable society rooted in active participation. The initiative seeks to support the achievement of developmental goals for women and children and to enhance the role of women in sustainable human development.

"Coding Game" Event
The Applied College Club in Al-Majardah, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs (Female Student Affairs), organized a "Coding Game" event on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The event aimed to enhance students' programming skills through the design and development of digital games; fifty-three students participated, divided into six groups that competed to create distinctive interactive games.
