The second scientific research forum for students
The Scientific Research Committee of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Applied College of Majardah, represented by Dr. Olfa ben Said and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Dr. Maha Al-Shehri, the activities of the scientific forum for students in its second edition. The submitted researches varied between different fields such as artificial intelligence, computer sciences, mathematics, and the English language. College and high school students submitted 26 research within the aforementioned fields. At the end of the forum, a group of first-place researches were crowned.
Among the projects of schoolgirls that won first place was a research titled "Developed Temporary Medical Smart Watch for Medication". Also the first place from the Computer Sciences Department belonged to the project “Aseer Voice Application for the iPhone System”, and from the Mathematics Department for the research “Network Planning for Project Management” and from the English Language Department for the research entitled “Efficacy of Blackboard in English courses at KKU: Perception of Students.”
The forum also included a paragraph for speakers, during which Dr. Maha Al-Shehri, Dean of the College, presented a course entitled "How to start your professional career during your university studies." Dr. Duaa Al-Rifai, Vice Dean of the College, presented a course entitled "How to prepare scientific presentations and posters".
