The Applied College in Al-Majardah participated in the 96th National Day celebrations at King Khalid University (Tihama Branch) by hosting an arts and crafts competition booth. The entries showcased the students' love for their country and their pride in their national identity.
Students from the college presented four artworks embodying patriotism; three of these secured top positions in the final competition, with results as follows:
🏆 First Place: Shahd Ahmed Al-Ghamdi – Applied College, Al-Majardah.
🥈 Second Place: Lamia Ali Al-Omari – Applied College, Al-Majardah.
🥈 Second Place (Tie): Amani Ali Saleh Al-Shehri – Applied College, Al-Majardah.
🥉 Third Place: Riyouf Mohammed Ali Al-Barqi – College of Nursing, Muhayil.
Student Dana Saleh Al-Omari contributed by documenting the event through photography, while another student participated in a face-painting station, adding an interactive and aesthetic element to the celebration.
The Applied College Club in Al-Majardah supported the competition by providing trophies for the winners and participating in the judging process. The club also extended its gratitude and appreciation to the 13 student volunteers who helped organize the booth.
