Students of Science and Arts For Females in Majardah visit the Abu Noura Heritage Museum
The Vision Club at the College of Science and Arts in Majardah, in cooperation with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for female students, held a field visit to the Abu Noura Heritage Museum, in the presence of 20 female beneficiaries from the college’s employees and students, on Wednesday 6/11/1444 AH at 4:00 p.m.
The visit included getting acquainted with the contents of the museum, enriching the knowledge of the visitors, and the successful journey of obtaining the Guinness World Records certificate for the largest honey pot in the world in Al Majardah Governorate.
The visit also included identification of agricultural tools, grazing tools, traditional clothing, jewelry, old silver, old coins, beekeeping and honey tools, Saudi coffee corner, and others.
this visit comes within the interests of the college so that its students educate, learn, and learn about the ancient heritage and ways to deal with it, in this great museum, in the depth of the history, rarity, and beauty of its holdings.
The members of the museum extended their thanks, gratitude, appreciation and respect to the college’s visitors, stressing their readiness to receive any party that wants to visit the museum.
Her Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Maha Al-Shehri, confirmed that such visits come as part of the College's preparations for many activities, visits, programs and events that target college students. She urged them to highlight their abilities and talents.
The visit was concluded by taking pictures and distributing handouts to the attendees.
