The Alumni Association unit of the College of Arts and Sciences has made great efforts during the current academic year (1444 AH /) in various aspects, whether academic, training or programmatic. The Alumni Association unit is concerned with the continuous updating of the alumni database, surveying their opinions about the curricula, the required skills, the labor market, and the difficulties they face after graduation, and urging them to communicate with the college.

The Alumni Association unit at the Faculty of Science and Arts in Majardah is the first step for a graduate to start her professional life and her orientation to the labor market. The unit served as a channel of communication between the university and its graduates. their educational career. The unit also provided a set of services required by governmental and private institutions related to verifying academic degrees and specializations for college graduates through an integrated electronic system.

During this year, the Alumni Association unit prepared and coordinated training programs for female college graduates in different parts of Al-Majardah Governorate. In the first place, the unit provided a training program for (6) female graduates in the municipality of Majardah Governorate. Then the unit provided a training program for about (2) female graduates at Majardah General Hospital and affiliated health centers and units. The unit also arranged a training program for (16) female graduates from general education schools in Al-Majardah Governorate, including (4) female graduates from the English Language Department, (10) female graduates from the Computer Department, and (2) female graduates from the Mathematics Department).

In this regard, the Alumni Association unit arranged and prepared more than (24) graduation documents, a course plan for the graduate, attendance and departure statements for the graduate at the training agency, correspondence with the dean of the college to approve the training request, training opportunity requests, and other documents related to the Graduate Affairs Unit. .

The Alumni Association unit also followed up the affairs of female graduates to identify their business entities and the nature of their jobs, and to identify the extent to which their majors are compatible with the needs of the labor market. The unit also received their suggestions about the programs they studied and coordinated with the relevant departments and the Quality Center within the university. The unit also contributed to the provision of information services for them in terms of training and employment opportunities available in the private and public sectors, helping them to obtain appropriate jobs that are compatible with their specializations and the requirements of the labor market, and introducing the public and private sectors to the competencies of university graduates in various specializations.

The employee, Fatima Abdo Al Muhammad, the coordinator of the unit, supervised the association plan in the college during the academic year 1444 AH, in addition to collecting and listing the efforts of the Graduate Affairs Unit in one consolidated report that included training programs for graduates, training sites, training plans, and training materials that were provided.
